About Me
Well as you should know my name is Lacey. I have three beautiful children, two girls and a boy. I am in a great relationship with a guy named Mike. We plan for a native american/pagan handfasting next Beltane. I have a diploma of highest honors, in psychology and social work, and I just finished STNA training at the beginning of April. I am considering getting certificates in tarot reading, reiki and natural medicines too. Yes I follow the pagan/wiccan path, but many other spiritual practices and traditions. This makes the must sense to me and my beliefs. (I am a Eclectic, Solitary, Pagan.) I also plan to open my own spiritual shop within the next five to seven years. It will consist of tarot reading, reiki, spiritual counseling, and much more. I love helping and caring for people...as well as the earth. Ya, I guess you can say I am a big empath...;)

Heroes
The defenition of heroism is gather tricky...but people and forces that have changed my life in a positive way are....
For one, my children. I had all my kids at a very young age, but I do not regret it one bit. I got my shit together and grew up! Having children has really opened me up to the big picture of life, and just how precious it is. Also I would have to say my fiance, if it wasn't for him I probally would of never discovered the bright side of love, and that extra push for independence. AND, who could forget the almighty divine and its forces, they give us everything we need.
I, over these last few years, have thought about doing readings professionally...
I have battled with the moral values, spiritual values and have at this point and time SEE and FEEL that this gift truly is one that has to be continually analyzed and prayed upon...
My thoughts and views always seem to come to this same conclusion....
Always seem to answer me through prayer very clearly my gift and path...
This is not to say that one day my path may be one with financial benefits...
For now, it is quite personal and deep, so I share this view with you all...
We psychics should not attempt to exercise our abilities unless we are operating on a solid foundation of spiritual values like acceptance, love, compassion, patience, excellence and pure intentions...
Anything less than this will cloud our reading work because our egos will get caught in the web of desire for praise, money or acclaim...
Instead of trying to channel Spirit's grace for our own purpose or agenda, we must surrender our egos and simply devote ourselves to doing Spirit's work in the world, for to tap into universal consciousness, we must allow the boundaries of the ego to melt away...
A solid commitment to ongoing self-examination is a prerequisite for being a pure channel of Spirit.
As distasteful as it may seem, the habit of exploring and recognizing our faults is the very path that will empower us to unravel those faults...
When we are unwilling to honestly face our own inner shadows, we stagnate in denial and self-deception...
Self-examination through spiritual or psychotherapeutic practices is like washing the windows of our souls.
When we maintain inner clarity, we not only see ourselves more clearly, we can look out and see others more clearly as well...
Self-awareness is also the key to psychic protection, for it helps keep evil at bay.
Evil is a product of operating solely from individual ego...
When we get caught up in the ego, we forget that we are all one in life...
Then it's easy to hurt the earth, another person or an animal, for we forget that we are all connected.
I think it's very interesting that the word evil is live spelled backward, for the concept of live and let live truly gets lost in moments of evil...
We become vulnerable to evil from outside ourselves when we perpetrate evil of our own, whether we do so consciously or unconsciously due to dimmed self-awareness...
Focusing on others is a popular way to avoid working on ourselves... I have seen much self destruction by way of this avoidance...
When we catch ourselves feeling self-righteously superior, it's time to get humble... When we hear ourselves relating a melodramatic story in which we're the put-upon victim of some villain, it's time to pop that big ego bubble and reclaim responsibility for our part in the matter...
When we find ourselves repulsed by a particular person, we can be certain they're holding up a mirror to a disowned part of ourselves, and we're feeling the way we feel because it's time for us to acknowledge and heal this aspect of our own being...
We can't change anyone but ourselves.
It is during those moments when we're obsessed with another person, aghast at their dysfunctional behavior or gossiping about them to others that we can easily do unintentional harm because we've lost clear awareness of our own issues and behavior...
Whether we separate ourselves from someone by feeling better than them or by putting them up on a pedestal, we can rest assured that they reflect some quality in ourselves that we've rejected.
This can be stuff we admire or find repulsive; either way, strong feelings always point us toward key lessons...
Our job is to pay attention and take the time to explore the energies behind those strong feelings...
Since we're all connected, we should be cognizant of protecting our extended self.
When we're oblivious to the harm we perpetuate, we're more susceptible to being harmed ourselves...
The best protection from evil is simply an ongoing commitment to living in the light.
Evil operates in the dark and dissipates under scrutiny, so self-awareness is the greatest tool we have for self-protection...
Using this special gift... is just that...Special...
Lately I've been wondering about my family heritage. I am an Irish American and I know only a fraction about our history.
This also goes for the 50% of Native American blood from my Grandfather's side. To narrow it down- I know almost zip about both sides.
As a kid I would go with my mother to take care of my great grandmother. She was fresh off the boat and senile. My grandfather used to tell me stories about his grandmother who drank bourbon every morning and claimed to see mermaids.
I've tried coercing my Grandfather into conversation about our Cherokee family [his mother is 100%].
I know there are websites out there like "Geneology. com" etc. But I honestly think these records should be free. I'm weary about paying for my family's information. Though, I can see where it should be protected due to identity theft.
I just wish there were a better way. My grandma is willing to help me with this. She seems to know so much about our family.
I believe it's important to know where you came from. I didn't grow up in Ireland, but our family did keep the tradition. I really see the Native American in my grandpa too. Beside his red skin, he is a nature, and animal man....(Very warm hearted)
I want to learn and experience the world [in certain aspects] like my ancestors.
Does anybody have a clue as to what I can do to get started?

You are the beautiful and powerful Sea Faery. A potent enchantress, none can resist your beauty or your charm, yet none can survive when your wrath is brought upon them. On the lighter side however, you can sometimes be playful and whimsical, and the host of a wonderful party.
